What Is Your Destiny?
FINDING YOURSELF
Who Am I?

When God created you, He made a special plan for your life. One that is unique and exclusive to you.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11

All of your natural born gifts and talents harmonize with the plan that God designed for your life.
They were given to you so that you could glorify God, but Satan wants to get you off course from your destiny.
“Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny.”
Ecclesiastes 6:10
“God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn. For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory.”
Romans 11:29, 36

THE DREAM THIEF
Getting Off Course

Satan doesn’t want you to discover your destiny. His goal is to steal your God-given talents and destroy your identity, leaving you lost and purposeless.
“[Satan’s intention] is to steal and kill and destroy.”
John 10:10

His strategy is to convince you to settle for a cheap version of the original plan that God had in mind for you. Enticing you with sin and temporary pleasures that will divert you from your true purpose.
“Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”
1 Peter 5:8
“Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.”
James 1:14
FINDING OUR DESTINY
Jesus Christ
The Bible says…
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9

Your destiny is hidden in Jesus Christ. He holds the keys to your life, but unrepentant sin blocks your way to it.
Jesus [answered], “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”
Proverbs 14:12

Our sin separated us from God, but God loved us so much that He gave us His only Son to remove the barrier between us, so that He could give you a rich and satisfying life.
“Your [sins] have separated you from God; your sins have hidden his face from you.”
Isaiah 59:2
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16

“Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.”
Hebrews 9:22
“[God] is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.”
Ephesians 1:7
“You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.”
Psalm 73:24
